Safety Features Built Into Every Pyramide USA Climbing Wall

Pyramide USA is a leader in safety for the climbing industry. While sport climbing is a physically demanding sport with some inherent risk, Pyramide’s focus in design and development is to make the sport as safe as possible. Our commitment to safety is in our heritage. All of our products meet or exceed ASTM standards and European standards EN 12572:1999 for artificial climbing structures. Pyramide initiated the very first standards regarding the safety of the artificial climbing walls (French AFNOR standards). Pyramide is also at the origin of the constitution of the European Standardizing Committee for the climbing walls (CEN standard) and has been an active member in these committees.

While adherence to standards is of the utmost importance, our commitment to safety is far more extensive. Built into each wall are safety features derived from our experience in the climbing wall industry. In addition to the built in safety features Pyramide USA provides staff training with every installation. Additional safety training is also available on an as needed basis, and is recommended annually to refresh your staff and keep them up to date with industry practices.
